This Privacy Policy explains how pinreview ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use pinreview (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for account data and as a processor for the feedback content our customers collect from their end users.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, hashed password, organization details.
• Feedback content: comments, screenshots, page URLs, browser/OS metadata, and reporter name/email submitted through the widget or extension.
• Usage data: log and diagnostic information needed to operate the Service.

2. How we use data

To provide and secure the Service, process payments, send transactional email (invitations, password resets, verification), and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal data.

3. Subprocessors

We share data with vetted providers strictly to run the Service: our hosting provider, our database provider, Cloudflare R2 (screenshot and file storage), our SMTP email provider, and Lemon Squeezy (payments and billing). Each processes data under contractual safeguards.

4. Retention

Feedback is retained according to your plan's history window (Free plans: 30 days; paid plans: until you delete it). Account data is retained while your account is active.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account from account settings; to request a data export or exercise other rights, contact us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and scoped access controls. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
